Ilmar Simanovskis | Student Therapist
I am a student in psychotherapy training, practicing with clinical supervision in the Gestalt Institute of Toronto. This website shares educational information and reflections. Services are offered only through the Gestalt student clinic setting.

Sometimes life starts to feel heavy, confusing, or strangely flat. You may be carrying stress, low energy, grief, self-doubt, or a sense that you have lost touch with yourself. You may be managing on the outside while feeling disconnected on the inside.

You do not need to come in with the right words or a clear explanation of what is wrong. It can be difficult to reach out when feeling overwhelmed, stuck in repeating patterns, emotionally shut down, or uncertain about what is changing in your life. Therapy can offer a space to pause, notice, and begin making sense of what is happening beneath the surface.

I offer a relational, body-informed approach grounded in Gestalt therapy. Together, we slow things down, notice what is happening in the present, and make space for what is asking for attention. Therapy can become a place to find steadier ground, greater clarity, and a more honest connection with yourself and those around you.
